Cancellations of confirmed reservations for annual, bi-annual and Rovos Air received more than 12 weeks prior to departure are subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the per person tour price.
Cancellations of confirmed reservations for annual, bi-annual and Rovos Air received between 12 and 8 weeks prior to departure are subject to a fee of 25% of the per person tour price.
Cancellations of confirmed reservations for annual, bi-annual and Rovos Air received between 8 and 4 weeks prior to departure are subject to a fee of 50% of the per person tour price
Cancellations of confirmed reservations for annual, bi-annual and Rovos Air received within the 4-week period are subject to forfeiture of the entire tour price.
Please Note: Cancellation fees will not be waived. We strongly advise that trip cancellation insurance be purchased.
Cancellations of confirmed reservations for regular journeys received more than 8 weeks prior to departure are subject to a cancellation fee of 5% of the per person tour price.
Cancellations of confirmed reservations for regular journeys received between 8 and 4 weeks prior to departure are subject to a fee of 25% of the per person tour price.
Cancellations of confirmed reservations for regular journeys received within the 4-week period are subject to forfeiture of the entire tour price.
Passports & Visas: The onus is upon the client to ensure that passports and visas, as may be required, are valid.
Health: Passengers are advised that if visiting Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Kruger Park, Swaziland and Victoria Falls anti-malarial precautions should be taken as may be prescribed.
Reservations/ Payment - Less Than 10 Passengers - The balance is payable 8 weeks before departure.
Reservations/ Payment - Less Than 10 Passengers - A 25% deposit at the time of booking and confirmation.
Reservations / Payment – More Than 10 Passengers - A 10% non-refundable deposit 6 months prior to travel
Reservations / Payment – More Than 10 Passengers - A further 10% non-refundable deposit 4 months before departure
Reservations / Payment – More Than 10 Passengers - The non-refundable balance is payable 8 weeks before departure thus, between 16-8 weeks the booking could be reduced to 20% of the original number of passengers without financial loss to the client/ Agent
Rovos Rail reserve the right to increase or decrease accommodation capacity as circumstances may require.
Rovos Rail reserves the right to amend the tour price at any time prior to written confirmation of the reservation. Rovos Rail further reserves the right to cancel or amend any sight seeing excursions or the tour departure dates provided they can offer the passenger alternative sight-seeing excursions or departure dates. Rovos Rail is not responsible for any delay or changes in tour arrangements that may be caused by natural or other factors beyond the control of Rovos Rail. There will be no refunds for any part of the tour that might be missed due to personal reasons.
